DHIY is not just a committee of people organising events; it is the teachers and students that make up our membership, and the wider Iyengar Yoga community around us. Here you can find information on local teachers, classes, and events, so that you can get involved too.

Teachers

Dorset and Hampshire has many active teachers, practicing and teaching at a variety of levels. To get an idea of who is teaching your area, take a look at IYUK’s teacher listings for our region.

By clicking on a particular teacher, you can find out about them, the classes they run through the week, and any events they are putting on. You can also search within a smaller area near your location to get more targeted results.

Classes

If you’d prefer to search for classes directly, to suit your availability and or to find classes taking place nearby, IYUK also provides class listings for our teachers.

You can modify the search options to select specific times, days, or a more targeted area.

Events

While IYUK does provide facilities for teachers to list their events, we maintain our own separate and (currently) more complete list of events for local teachers, which you can view in our local events calendar.
